The soil of silica which gives the freshness, the limestone which favors the alcoholic degree or the clay which brings of the body. The “terroir” is this place of the ground, this unique place, which gives to the wine its origin and its originality.
But a good terroir does not make a good wine. The wine would not exist without men and women. It is them, that by wondering relentlessly about the maintenance of the vineyard, the vintage cutting, about the date of the harvests, about the techniques of wine making, who manage, year after year, to draw from their vine, the best possible one. Their wine is this always mysterious result of the meeting of a earth and a wine grower.
It is with this approach of the wine, while walking us in the French vineyards that we selected the winemakers with which we work.
